Joyce Carol Oates: Guidelines for her reading and booksigning

Joyce Carol Oates is visiting The Book Works on Saturday, November 7 at 5:00 pm to read and sign her new book, Little Bird of Heaven.

HOW TO GET LITTLE BIRD OF HEAVEN SIGNED BY JOYCE CAROL OATES:

If you plan to come to the event:
First, purchase Little Bird of Heaven from The Book Works and keep your receipt. The receipt will be required to have your book signed.

Then, bring your receipt and book to the signing on Saturday, November 7. You must show your receipt to a staff member in order to have your book signed.

If you do not plan to come to the event but would still like a signed book:
First, purchase Little Bird of Heaven from The Book Works.
Then, leave the book with us and give us your name and contact information. We will keep your book at the store and Professor Oates will sign your book (no dedications, sorry) on November 7. You may pick up your signed book up to two weeks after the event.

Please note: Professor Oates will sign any copies of her books that you have purchased at The Book Works (receipt required).

EVENT SCHEDULE:
Professor Oates will read at 5:00 pm and sign books immediately afterwards. Please be aware that space is very limited and seating is on a first come, first serve basis. No reserved seats except for friends and family of Professor Oates.

Despite the limited space and seating, you will have a chance to meet Professor Oates when she signs your book. Thanks in advance for your patience and understanding as we host this cultural icon in our humble store.
