Meet Dog Behaviorial Specialist Kathy Santo and Bring Your Pooch Out for a Night on the Town

Renowned dog trainer and founder of Kathy Santo Everyday Pets, Kathy Santo, has teamed up with Buddy’s and The Books Works to offer dogs and their owners a chance to get their most desired dog questions answered.  On February 12, 2008, from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM, four-legged friends and their parents will enjoy appetizers and drinks while Santo offers advice and signs her latest book, Kathy Santo’s Dog Sense. 

Newly opened, Buddy’s, offers a stylish boutique where dogs, cats and their owners can shop for natural food, holistic supplements and unique accessories.  Founded by Lenore Hawkins, Buddy’s was opened after she adopted and fell in love with a grumpy, itchy, gaseous old lab named Buddy.  Buddy has since passed, but Lenore continues to keep his memory alive.  Founded in 1976, The Book Works is an independent, locally owned bookstore staffed by booksellers who are passionate about books. 

For the furry friends who have stolen your heart, the Everyday Pets Affection Collection will be on display and available for purchase during the event. 

Kathy Santo Everyday Pets’ founder Kathy Santo has appeared on the “Martha Stewart Show” and is a contributing editor to “House Beautiful” magazine, where she writes the “Ask the Dog Shrink” column. Additionally Kathy writes the 'Training and Behavior' column for AKC’s “Family Dog Magazine” and is a member of the International Association of Canine Professionals and the Association of Pet Dog Trainers.
